Philip Obin is a communication and technology expert with over 14 years of experience in digital media, entrepreneurship, and public service. He is a Founding Member of the Okwuegbulem Empowerment Foundation, where he applies his expertise to youth empowerment and community development initiatives across Nigeria.

He holds a BSc in Communication Technology from the National Open University of Nigeria (2015), a Diploma in Information Technology from Lagos State Polytechnic (2004), and a Certificate in Entrepreneurial Management from Lagos Business School (2014). Philip is the current Special Adviser to the Governor of Cross River State on Digital Economy and previously served as Technical Assistant to the Vice President of Nigeria, leading digital media strategies and public engagement efforts.

Philip is the MD and CEO of Potech Integrated Services Limited, an ICT and media firm established in 2002 that provides affordable business support solutions such as bulk SMS, web design, e payment services, computer supply, and digital marketing, operating from Lagos and Calabar. He is also the Owner of The Homes Restaurant, Calabar.

He is the Founder and Manager of Trenchat, a social media platform for community engagement, and has consulted on major political campaigns and corporate digital initiatives. A strong advocate for entrepreneurship and financial inclusion, Philip has trained youths in digital skills, supported MSMEs, promoted mobile money adoption, and contributed to inclusive programs for women and persons with disabilities.

At the Foundation, Philip leverages digital strategy and advocacy to advance education, skills development, and humanitarian outreach. His key strengths include digital media strategy, social media marketing, web design, entrepreneurship advocacy, and mobile money solutions.
