Stanley Chigozie Okwu is a distinguished supply chain and procurement expert and the visionary Founder of the Okwuegbulem Empowerment Foundation. He holds a BTech in Mathematics from the Federal University of Technology Owerri with 2nd Class Upper Division, and earned a third place in the International Mathematics Competition in Nigeria and represented his university at the 16th International Mathematics Competition for University Students in Hungary. He furthered his studies at Pan African University, Multimix Academy, and Teesside University, graduating with a First Class MSc in IT Project Management, combining technical excellence with leadership skills.
Stanley has managed professional operations for leading organizations including Dizengoff, Skylinks, Vodacom, Dangote Sugar Refinery, and Crunchies Fried Chicken, where he served as Head of Procurement and Inventory before relocating to the UK for his master’s program. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Supply Chain Management (ACILSCM).
While Stanley has garnered extensive experience in supply chain analytics, inventory control, demand planning, and trade logistics, his true passion lies in expanding access to education and empowering underserved communities. Witnessing friends and family struggle to fund their schooling inspired him to create avenues for learning, skill development, and holistic support for those in need.
It is this unwavering commitment to education and community development that motivated him to establish the Okwuegbulem Empowerment Foundation. Through his leadership, Stanley aims to provide scholarships, mentorship programs, vocational training, and resources that empower youth and families to succeed and thrive.
